Department of Physics organised a Career guidance talk on the 17th of January 2019 at 10.30 am for Physics and Mathematics students of the F.Y B. Sc.,S.Y B. Sc. and T.Y. B. Sc. of our college.
Mr. Sushil Tripati, a Mechanical Engineer was the resource person for the program. He is been training young minds for different government entrance exams, Central and State level. He was equipped to answer the studentsqueries, clearing their doubts and fear of these exams.
He began his talk with tips to Plan their Careers along with the ground realities. He spoke about Ambition versus Reality.
He listed the various types of Certificate courses introduced by the government like VLSI Design, Multimedia and Animation, Software Development & Testing, Embedded systems and Internet of things, CDAC courses (Centre of Development of Advanced Computing), (ITand Mobile applications) which,he said easily fetches a job with a good pay scale.
He also mentioned some of the various areas with Government Jobs- Staff Selection Commission, IOCL, NTPC, ONGC, Indian Institute for Astrophysics etc.He also went into Career Options for Science Graduates laced with statistics.He also updated the students about different posts available for BSc (computer science) BSc (electronics), along with pay scales.
Nearly 40 students attended the same & and were taken up by t he vital statistics and job scenario.
