The Consumer Welfare Cell of Carmel College organized “Road safety action” on 26th August 2015 as a part of Road safety Week. A total number of 45 students and the faculty members of the CWC participated in the same. The road safety action was conducted outside the college gate. The members held placards and banners displaying the importance of road safety. The members also created awareness regarding the use of ISI marked helmets and the use of seat belts while driving.
The activities of the road safety action were coordinated by the consumer welfare cell coordinator Gladys D’souza in association with GOACAN Mr. Roland Martins and the Margao traffic Police.
