The Department of Konkani organized a one day field trip to three places namely, Goa Konkani academy, Panjim, Kala academy, Miramar and Reis Magos fort on 8 th February, 2019. Altogether 65 students from FYBA and TYBA (elective Konkani) were accompanied by faculty members, Pooja Sangodkar and Josmita Fernandes.
The main objective of field trip was to visit Konkani organization where a lecture was arranged for the students by the famous folklore writer Jayanthi Naik who gave a glimpse into the Konkani literature besides, she also spoke about the functioning of the organization, and the schemes they provide.
